Bridgeville Store Closing
Posted: November 02, 2020The negative effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on school music and school music businesses across the country continue to be problematic. As a result, the decision has been made to permanently close the Bridgeville Johnstonbaugh’s location effective 12/23/2020. The Allison Park and Golden Mile JMC locations will continue to operate as usual, and all services offered by the company will remain available and uninterrupted.
Please know that JMC has been working diligently to adapt to the current environment by following government guidelines and adding timely new products like bell covers, wind instrument facemasks, and a truly effective disinfectant spray. For those of you who are loyal instrument rental customers, JMC will continue serving you by providing personal at school service in addition to recently added services such as School Shopping Pages, School Move Up Nights, and virtual lessons and consultations.
Believing that school music education will remain essential to society and that eventual recovery is inevitable, this measure is being taken to help ensure that Johnstonbaugh’s Music Centers will continue to thrive as it supports music education throughout Western Pennsylvania for generations to come. Thank you for your trust and support.
We know you may have some questions for us. We've provided some answers below - please reach out to us if you need further information.
Will this affect my instrument rental?
No, your rental contract will continue without interruption in service. New deliveries, exchanges, and returns can still be set up directly at your school. Any rental billing matters and communications will continue to be handled by our administrative staff in Allison Park.
Can I still use my rental discount to purchase an instrument?
Absolutely! Our sales staff at our Allison Park and Golden Mile stores will be happy to assist you with any purchases. If you would prefer not to travel to those locations, we can deliver instruments to your school for an at-home trial. Please contact us at 724-444-5660 or [email protected] to arrange this.
Where can I buy band and orchestra accessories?
Visit our online store for all of your musical needs. We are consistently expanding our online catalog and offer free school delivery for all online purchases! Also, you earn $5 in loyalty points for every $100 spent at Johnstonbaugh’s, redeemable in-store and online. If you want to visit us in person, we’d love to see you at our stores in Allison Park and Golden Mile.
How can I get my instrument repaired?
If you have a rental instrument that needs repair, contact us to set up an exchange at your school. If an instrument you own is requires service, we also offer school pickup and delivery for private repairs. Our team of experienced technicians will contact you with an estimate and all billing can be completed over the phone. You can reach us at 724-444-5660 or [email protected] to schedule a pickup.
Will Johnstonbaugh’s continue to offer lessons?
In-person lessons at the Bridgeville store will not be available after December 23rd. However, Johnstonbaugh’s is proud to continue to offer virtual lessons for all band and orchestra instruments, as well as guitar, piano, and voice. Learn more about virtual lessons and submit a lesson referral here. If you are currently taking lessons at our Bridgeville store, please reach out to your instructor directly to make arrangements.
Will you be having a store closing sale?
