A native of Southwestern Pennsylvania, young baryton-martin Amitabha Chakrabarti is a professional emerging artist holding a Master’s of Music degree from the University of Southern California. He has performed in venues throughout the Tri-State area, with D’Angelo Opera Theater, After Dinner Opera Company, and Undercroft Opera in Pittsburgh. In Los Angeles 2008, he was a principal role in USC Opera Theater’s The Rape of Lucretia as Junius, and as the Vicar in the 2009 production of Albert Herring. Other roles throughout his years of study are Papageno from Die Zauberfl%F6te, Belcore from L’Elisir D’Amore, Marcello from La Boheme, and Guglielmo from Cosi fan tutte. Amitabha has been teaching for about 5 years, and has several promising students in various genres of music. His method is through classical voice training, which enables a singer to perform freely and without tension in sound%97this in the end proves to be as beneficial for pop, rock, country, jazz, and musical theater singers as well. He also has 7 years of piano training, 6 years in music theory and composition, speaks several European/Asian languages and can work theoretical and performance piano with students depending on their skill level. Gloria Caceres is a native of Tunja, Colombia. She holds degrees in cello performance and pedagogy from Colombia National University, and Duquesne University. In her two decades of education experience, Gloria has taught private instruction for cello and piano, General Music Classes at Tunja School of music, and toured Colombia conducting workshops with the Batuta Teaching Program. She and has studied the organ and Sacred Music at Duquesne University under Ann Labounsky, John Walker, David Craighead, and Andrew Scanlon, and piano with Ken Burky. Jessica has sung in the Pittsburgh Compline Choir since 2007, and is an active member with theAmerican Guild of Organists and the Handbell Musicians of America, and also serves on the Executive Board of the Pittsburgh Organ Academy.

He is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music with over 30 years of teaching experience with students age 4 and up. Mr. Kulik has taught private as well as class piano at Chatham College’s Laboratory School of Music, Pittsburgh, PA and at Westmoreland County Community College, Youngwood, PA. He has had many successful students place in performance and composition competitions at the local and state levels of PMTA. A professional pianist and flautist with extensive classical training and performance experience, Lisa Rae Vaughan is Executive Director for the Lisa Rae Music Studios, LLC. In 1994, Ms. Vaughan implemented a network of community-centric teaching studios and has supervised the music education of more than 1000 students ages birth to 85.
LRMS offers private and group music lessons to youth, adult, and students with special needs (incl. autism, ADHD, physical and mental challenges) through its multiple Western PA sites and licensed Music Together Centers. At Johnstonbaugh’s Music Centers, Ms. Vaughan offers private piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and violin lessons. Students are prepared and afforded opportunities to participate in studio-wide recitals, piano competitions, professional evaluations, and Music Clubs Festivals.
Ms. Vaughan was graduated from Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University where she earned a Bachelor of Science double degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering and Engineering Public Policy. It was at the prestigious CMU that she studied classical piano with Nelson Whitaker. First trained in classical and sacred music by her mother, Natheleen Murphy Vaughan, she broadened her musical horizons through private studies with flautist James Walker, formerly of the Pittsburgh Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and co-founder of the jazz ensemble "Free Flight". She has also attended the Jamie Aebersold Jazz Camp in Louisville, KY, and most recently, studied jazz piano with the national touring pianist, Frank Cunimondo.
